PPL Joins DCNR, Conservation Organizations to Announce Land Protection Effort in Lancaster and York Counties

WHAT: PPL Corporation and Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Secretary Michael DiBerardinis will join representatives of Lancaster County Conservancy, Lancaster- York Heritage Region and The Conservation Fund to announce a land conservation initiative. WHEN/WHERE: 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, at PPL's Pinnacle Overlook, Martic Township, Lancaster County. DIRECTIONS: From Lancaster, take Route 222 south to Willow Street. At the main traffic light, go straight onto Route 272 (Route 222 turns left here; you don't want to go that way). Proceed south on Route 272 for 10 miles to Buck and turn right onto Route 372. Proceed 6 miles and turn right onto River Road (if you go across the Susquehanna River you have gone too far). Take River Road north for 3 miles and turn left onto Pinnacle Road at the Pinnacle Overlook sign. Take Pinnacle Road for 1 mile to Pinnacle Overlook, turn right at the entrance gate and drive to the parking area. From York, take Route 74 south past Airville and turn left onto Route 372. Go across the Susquehanna River to the third road on the left, which is River Road. Take River Road north for 3 miles and turn left onto Pinnacle Road at the Pinnacle Overlook sign. Take Pinnacle Road for 1 mile to Pinnacle Overlook, turn right at the entrance gate and drive to the parking area.
