PPL Electric Utilities Prepared for Weekend Weather
Crews ready to respond if customers lose power
PPL Electric Utilities

PPL Electric Utilities employees are preparing for predicted winter storms this weekend to quickly and safely respond to customers who may lose service due to accumulating ice and snow.

Crews are ready to respond if customers lose power overnight tonight and into early Saturday (12/7) or during the next predicted winter storm Sunday (12/8) and Monday (12/9).

We take every storm seriously and plan ahead so we can respond effectively and safely when our customers need us. Safety is always a priority for us in difficult weather. Please be aware that as snow and ice accumulates, it can weigh down and break limbs, which fall onto our power lines and cause power outages.

Customers should stay away from any downed power lines, treat them as if they were live, and contact PPL Electric Utilities. Be safe. Do not try to move or drive over the wires.

If you lose power, please report your outage by calling 1-800-DIAL-PPL (342-5775) or visiting our online Outage Center at www.pplelectric.com/outage.We rely on customers to tell us about outages; please do not assume someone else has reported it. The website also has tips to prepare for stormy weather and other information.
