Morony Dam River Access Site to Remain Closed Through Early Spring

PPL Montana announced Monday (12/16) that the Morony Dam River Access Site will remain closed for public safety until April 2014 as the company continues repairs to a generator at Morony Dam.

PPL Montana, after consultation with Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks, closed the access site in June. The road to the site is closed at the Sulphur Spring Trailhead. The trailhead and trailhead parking lot remain open, as does access to Ryan Island.
