PPL Earns High Scores in 2016 Corporate Equality Index
Rating by Human Rights Campaign Foundation Recognizes PPL’s Commitment to Diversity and LGBT Workplace Equality

ALLENTOWN, Pa. (Nov. 25, 2015) -- PPL received a score of 95 out of 100 on the 2016 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), a national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices relating to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) workplace equality.

PPL’s score in the annual Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s survey reflects a commitment to LGBT workplace equality, with respect to tangible policies, benefits and practices.

The 2016 CEI rated a total of 1,027 businesses in the report, which evaluates LGBT-related policies and practices, including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs and public engagement with the LGBT community.
