Dunster by Candlelight gets a helping hand
WPD workers assist with Christmas tree lighting

WPD craftsperson John Healey adds the final touches to the tree.
Staff from local electricity company Western Power Distribution provided some much needed support to the Dunster by Candlelight organizing committee by installing the lights on the spectacular Christmas tree.
Using a fleet vehicle providing the height required, John Healey and Steve Hudson made light work of the task.
The main event starts on Friday evening with the lantern lighting procession, followed by entertainment, including street entertainers, carol singers, Morris dancers and hand-bell ringers.
Collections over the weekend along with program sales will be donated to St. Margaret’s Hospice.
