PPL Electric Utilities to Host Meet and Greet Event for Diversity-Owned Suppliers
Event provides opportunity for diversity-owned businesses to meet with PPL leaders

PPL Electric Utilities is hosting a meet and greet event for the leaders of diversity-owned businesses who are interested in becoming PPL suppliers.

The free event will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 17, 2017, at PPL Conference Center at Walbert, 1639 Church Road, Allentown PA 18104-9342. It is open to women, minorities, veterans, the disabled, members of the LGBT community, as well as disadvantaged and HUBZone businesses.

Attendees will have the chance to meet PPL leaders, supply chain staff members, and prime suppliers, and discuss opportunities to become a PPL supplier.

“Several dozen people attended this event last year and we are hoping to see even more at this year’s event,” said David Amico, PPL’s Supply Chain director. “We value diversity at PPL and would like nothing better than to significantly expand upon the diversity of our suppliers.”
