PPL Corporation to Conduct Conference Call, Webcast on First-Quarter Earnings Results

PPL Corporation (NYSE: PPL) plans to release its consolidated first-quarter 2003 earnings results before the stock market opens on the morning of Tuesday, April 29. PPL management will discuss these results and the company's general business outlook during a conference call with financial analysts at 9 a.m. EDT on that day.
William F. Hecht, PPL chairman, president and chief executive officer, and John R. Biggar, executive vice president and chief financial officer, will conduct the conference call, which will be available online live, in audio format, on PPL's Internet Web site at www.pplweb.com.
