Following the release of its second-quarter earnings results, the company invites interested parties to listen to the live Internet Webcast of management's conference call with financial analysts at 4:15 p.m. (EDT) on Tuesday, July 24. The presentation will cover second-quarter earnings results and also provide a general business outlook.

William F. Hecht, PPL chairman, president and chief executive officer, and John R. Biggar, executive vice president and chief financial officer, will conduct the analyst call, which will be available online live, in audio format, on PPL's Internet Web site at http://www.pplweb.com/. To access the Webcast, click on the "Second-Quarter Earnings Release" icon. For those who cannot listen to the live Webcast, a replay will be accessible in the same manner via PPL's Web site for 30 days.
