PPL Names Supply Chain Executive

 

 

ALLENTOWN, Pa., Sept. 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- PPL Corporation (NYSE: PPL) Thursday (9/6) named a 25-year veteran as its head of Supply Chain and Procurement.

Jaime Bohnke, currently Global Supply Chain and Lean Six Sigma vice president for Tyco International, will join PPL Oct. 1 as vice president-Supply Chain. She will report to Paul Farr, PPL's executive vice president and chief financial officer.

Bohnke has served in her current position for four years following service as vice president of Supply Chain Management at Westinghouse Electric's Nuclear Fuel operation. Previously, she headed the Integrated Supply Chain of Raytheon Missile Systems.

The Los Angeles native, who holds a doctorate in organizational behavior and business policy, began her career at McDonnell Douglas. She also has experience at Healthcare Corporation of America and Contour Aerospace, an independent aerostructure developer.

At PPL, Bohnke replaces Joe Zelechoski, who retired as the head of Supply Chain earlier this year.

Bohnke earned her doctorate from the University of La Verne in La Verne, Calif. She holds a B.A. in business management and an M.B.A from Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, Calif. She is a Six Sigma Greenbelt and has completed executive development programs at the University of Chicago, the University of Phoenix and Merrimack College.
