PPL EnergyPlus began serving U.S. Department of Defense facilities in Tobyhanna, Chambersburg and Philadelphia, Pa., April 1 as part of a two-year natural gas supply contract.

“We are excited to provide the U.S. Army and Navy competitively priced natural gas supply to support their needs,” said Joel Cook, vice president of PPL EnergyPlus.

PPL EnergyPlus will supply all the natural gas required to serve the U.S. Army’s Tobyhanna and Letterkenny Army Depots, as well as the U.S. Navy’s Naval Support Activity Philadelphia facility.
