Take advantage of PPL Electric Utilities’ Winter Relief Assistance Program to make your home more energy efficient, and we’ll take you out to the ball game.

Under an initiative for qualified customers in Clinton, Columbia, Lycoming, Montour and Union counties, customers who sign up for a free WRAP project at their home, and have that project completed, are eligible for four free tickets to one Williamsport Crosscutters home baseball game in 2014. The season runs from Friday (6/13) through Sept. 1.

Though its name includes the word “winter,” WRAP helps customers be more energy efficient year-round. Depending on the results of a free energy survey of their home, qualified customers could be eligible for free energy efficiency upgrades including replacement of refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners and much more.

“We want our customers who qualify for this great program to know that it can help them save energy and money,” said Tim Dahl, manager of Regulatory Programs and Business Services for the utility. “The free energy survey and resulting free upgrades can help them stay warmer in winter and cooler in summer. Add in the Crosscutters, and it’s a fun night out for the family, too.”

PPL Electric Utilities, a subsidiary of PPL Corporation (NYSE: PPL), provides electric delivery services to about 1.4 million customers in Pennsylvania and consistently ranks among the best companies for customer service in the United States. More information is available at www.pplelectric.com.
